In May/June of this year I was invited into Patna Primary School by the wonderful Head Teacher Mrs McPhail to write an original song with a class from P5/P6 and P7. The end result is the super catchy song with the killer title ‘Rocket Fast Sky High’.
I want to thank all the great teachers who were so helpful and of course all the pupils who were so creative and talented. The song is based on the school values and we even have a ‘Rap’ section on the track.
I brought in the maestro Jamie Clark to record the song. He also played on it and mixed the track - he did a great job.
